    Carbon fibre supplies

Looking to mould some parts from my bikes. Does anyone know of a good place to get supplies for making the moulds and carbon fibre/resin?

Depending upon what you're wanting to achieve it might be worth speaking to these guys:

I've seen their work in the building of 6 figure drag bikes. Beautiful stuff. Expensive stuff...

I've seen build threads online of guys in Europe making fuel tanks and the like. Pretty involved. What are you looking to make and for what bike?

Just checking - you sure the 3M Di-Noc Carbon Wrap won't cut it?

Kirkside in Osbourne park sells carbon fibre by the meter, it's expensive. Plenty of suppliers on eBay way cheaper. I get all of my glass and resin from Colin Earl surf supplies, he's not the cheapest but he's got good quality resins and I like the guy.

Kirkside or Composites Warehouse in O'Connor (http://www.compositeswarehouse.com.au)

I just bought a head of gear there to repair my fairings, ended up being cheaper than I expected.

Are you looking at doing pre-preg, vacuum infusion or just wet lay stuff?

Just wet lay at the moment SB. Ive got a pylon repair needed in my catamaran so thinking if Ive got the epoxy on hand I could do a few parts for my bikes. A rear hump for a cafe and some parts on my XR. Was going to try the flap in the rear wheel arch to start as its easy then maybr the side panels if I get it done well enough. The right would be easy enough the left is a bit harder though with the airbox bits n pieces.
