    So What's New

    Hi all

Been away for a while, just wondering a few things.

    1) What happened to the bike shops, they have all gone or moved - which bike shops you recommend for bikes?
    2) I have no gear - where do you think someone can get kitted up these days ?
    3) How's everyone? Hope you've been looking after yourselves and keeping the black stuff on the ground.

Cheers, and hope to see you again soon !

Holly shit long time no see!
Bike shops relied on sports bikes for their bread and butter earnings, combo of track closures and economy downturn caused a few to walk away. Seems adv and lams bikes is all that moves now, or high end specialty stuff.
The shops that used to be good still are, cullys probably have one of the best gear range i have seen, causeway honda/ktm have a bit too from memory.
Hope all is well with you and yours

Welcome back. Hope you, Teenie and the fam are doing well.
Cully's seems to be the go to place for gear. Dale Britton have well and truly downsized their gear, as I presume have many others. Went in there to try on some gloves - they used to have a great range. They had one pair of female gloves and only cos they were old stock. The bike scene isn't what it used to be - a small motorcycle place was telling me they used to sell 30 bikes/month; they're now selling 2 if they're lucky.

    Hey, welcome back buddy!

XSR900s are great fun, best part is you'll never need to change the front wheel as it never touches the ground.
Trying to think of a wise and sincere signature quote, but the only words that leap to mind are, "TITTY SPRINKLES"

Can confirm I've given away a few front tyres so I could keep matching models front and rear.
