Fuck me. 178 hp. Thatís almost twice the power of the brick. Thanks for the tip. Other bikes Iím looking at are an SV1000S - love the smooth torquey power of a big twin - apparently it ďwheelies like a bastardĒ according to one review I read. Another bike Iím looking at is a 1998 FZR1000 in Vic. Thereís a bit of nostalgia in this one. In its day this bike set new standards for performance and was unbeatable in production racing. When two wheels magazine Road tested it, the bloke that tested it (Simon Perry I think) said that it had so much power it made him feel humbled and scared

Yeah, I've ridden these and they certainly go like a shower of shit. But no way do they produce what they claim in power or weight.

However riding a bike that has more power than Kg is quite something to behold. My ZX10R is one such bike, it genuinely makes me reassess what I thought I knew about motorcycling and how these things can behave.

Evil is a word that leaps to mind and makes the top of the list.

The ZX10R that I used to race had less power than my current road going one but was a touch lighter thanks to Carbon fibre fairings and no lights. But I recall once glancing the dash and I was doing 200+ and still accelerating hard thinking I was giving it all until I saw the other display on my dash which was Throttle Position Sensor... 75% was somewhat depressing.
Trying to think of a wise and sincere signature quote, but the only words that leap to mind are, "TITTY SPRINKLES"

so what was the price and details of this bike you brought.

as i said in your other thread the gsxf can be had really cheap in perth. can get a decent one for 2-3k.

my old man might be interested. i had one before that turned out to be a dud so i moved it on but it was an ok bike.
