The most overrated burgers in Perth? Alfreds. It's just the setting and opening hours that make it good.

There is a shitload more overrated and expensive burgers in Perth than Alfreds, Grill'd for example.
Knowledge without mileage equals bullshit.
"The feelings mutual so kindly fuck off"
Used to be a place called 'Notjustburgers' that operated out of Paragon Mall on hay st
Best bang for buck burgers imo, chips were good to
When they were closing he told me he also operated a food truck but i cant for the life of me find him again![]()
Alfreds do make em a bit moist so my usual is steakburger/egg/bacon on double toast. Outer stays dry and crunchy.
Had a couple at Red Chilli burger that were good.

Can't say Alfred's is overrated - it's an institution - and is a provider of a solid, hearty burger.
I don't think there is a 'best' burger. There are different types.
Alfred's is ... as above.
Then you get your 'gourmet' shit like what Grill'd tries to be, maybe Jus Burgers
Then you have what is currently going off its tits - the american-style-throw-everything-fukkin-innit-until-it's-too-big-to-bite burger (honestly, what's the point of a fuckin' tower you need to deconstruct and eat with a knife and fork?)
I'm not saying they're not tasty, I like Meet&Bun and ShortOrder - Hood were also great and I think one of the first US-style burger joints in Perth - but I find the over-sized shit a bit ... silly?
I'm also in that FB group, and my feed just looks like a bloody menu now![]()
Don't get the Love for Meet & Bun. The joint in Mt Lawley is OK because it has beer, but it's a fckn expensive Burger and not up to the hype for my tastes.
Had a pair of cracking burgers from Caboose in Mt Lawley (which I guess uses the same kitchen as the Grovy), A bit pricey but used the entertainment book for a 2 for 1.
Trying to think of a wise and sincere signature quote, but the only words that leap to mind are, "TITTY SPRINKLES"

Don't go to burger joints much these days. Being a coffee addicts means I tend to go to cafes.
Recently had a beef burger with chips and coffee at Dome.
The pattie was thick and I could actually taste the meat along with all the ingredients of the burger...8/10.
Johnny's Burgers in Canningvale was bloody good american theme style and so was surprisingly the Dome do tasty beef burgers as above.
Went to 3230 Smoke and Grill on friday with a mate - had the bbq bacon cheeseburger and it was lush!
quick burger I knocked up for dinner: Gusface smashed patty, american chedder, blue cheese sauce, pickles, onion, shortcut bacon, mustard and mr saucez scorpion peri peri sauce. Pure bliss and probably cost less than $2
