Help wanted for unknown problem 01 cbr f4i

    Hey all
I'll spare the long winded story but the bikes not quite starting as it's meant to and I'd rather not take it to a shop because I'll look like an idiot.
So anyone in the Cockburn area able to help me out some time Tuesday onwards?
Obligatory cash/beer payments for time helped

Cleaned plugs and checked gaps, seem fine. I'll actually take Derek into consideration as he's been pretty helpful in the past, didn't realise he did mobile though

What do you mean by not starting properly?
It wont crank or will crank and then lose cranking power, cranks but wont fire, fires but runs rough, etc?

Cranks fine, start idles, dies after 20 seconds, any attempt to open throttle makes it lose power

No fuel. Blocked pick up filter in tank? @ fuel pump?
Can you blow backwards up the fuel line.....not impossible yet tastes pretty bad.
Is it possible to block air inlet at the filter.?
If no fuel .....less air will make a difference to the running..since when you open throttle you give the motor more air.

Pop the fuel cap open....maybe the tank vent is blocked. Or blocked fuel filter...either at the fuel valve or in the fuel pump.

Unlikely unless the bike has taken some impact damage, but could be partial exhaust blockage. If you hit a bump and the ceramic matrix in the cat converter becomes dislodged, it will allow enough air through to start and idle, but not for very long and not enough to rev.

Kinked fuel line. Easy to do if you have had the tank off.
