I felt I had to see the livestream since the police said I shouldn't. It shows exactly what you'd expect when someone wages war on unarmed people. Disgraceful. The meme culture references seem like a 'nod' to all those who participate in the internet hate machine. I don't get the pewdipie reference. Maybe mocking the 'influencer' culture...

Some words from London Mayor Sadiq Khan...

“There is a responsibility on all of us to be very careful in the language we use and the messages we amplify. There are some people in our country who fan the flames of hatred. There are some people who demonise and dehumanise people because of the faith they follow. You have a role to play in radicalising people to become terrorists. That’s why it is really important that we demonstrate from London that as far as we are concerned, our diversity is a strength not a weakness. We don’t simply tolerate it we celebrate it, we embrace it and we respect it.
Exactly the reason I used to get more than a little combative with some of the xenophobic shit-posting that came up on these forums a while back. Thankfully not so much these days.

    edit: spoke too soon....

So far there appears to me no celebratory parties in predominantly Muslim countries.
Unusual. Similar events around the world have been cause for jubilation.

Wages war? Really? So you agree with him that he will go to Valhalla? Just like other cowards who think they are due some virgins for cowardly acts.

This is the sort of wording that enables weak minded people.

They are gutless murderers no more. Want to go to Valhalla, go to Syria and fight ISIS you pieces of shit.

So NZ muslims are killed in a mosque with no other reason than to have the shooters named ' killers for the cause' it's no different to the 'casino shooters' in the states...is it?

there's no honour in slaughter...no pride in marksmanship..no courage in conflict....but you can guarantee this munt will have a following....

Oh yeah, cue the copy cats, the tit for tat revenge attacks and the cycle will continue until there are only two people left on the planet... and they'll find something to argue about.

    Humans... yeah... not a fan.

Doesn’t seem to be any difference at all.
The only difference being a lack of jubilation from the Middle East.

Is this event a more hideous crime because it is politically motivated, against a religious Jihad that is carried out in name of a popular imaginary deity.

George Pell’s slight diversion from the norm is a lesser crime than the Step Father/Mother combo who prostituted their daughter. An organisation bolsters support for him, our Leaders appear as character witnesses for him.

Was 9/11, London and Paris less hideous because there was a God involved and had a much larger support from the worlds population that support the God involved?

Jihadist acts are described as ‘Lone Wolf Attacks’, nothing to be alarmed about.
The Christchurch ‘Lone Wolf’ attach would therefore be the same?

I'll assume you're confusing something because I never hinted that shooting unarmed people was agreeable. That's just fucking weird to infer.

Someone likely to 'kill' might get a lot of enjoyment through simulated killing in video games... but it's simply not real. Did the guys manifesto explain gaming made him do it?

Where are this guys parents and other family? He didn't shot up a mosque because he grew up playing call of duty in an otherwise loving and compassionate household. I assume it will come out that he was tanked up on SSRI's and other pharma because no one loved him

Sorry mate I was inferring that the lovers of this type of hysterical revenge will flock to the POV vid like the lovers of same type of video gaming..argue all you want but there will be 'copy cat killings' desensitizing murder is a thing..

and it's really easy to pull a trigger...can't blame the gun or the bullet.... a finger pulled the trigger.... a human made that decision.....a man carried it out. just sayin' no amount of screening will weed these peeps out.

in hindsight the question asked is why wasn't this guy 'on the radar' ? well ….a quick search of social media says he should have raised a very very big red flag...him and a bunch of others with the ability and the means to enact murder.

In essence total unaccountability for the number of deaths and the scoring system of same.

Not that unlike the sniper attack of 'one punch' retribution.

"yeh I knew it would kill him if he hit his head on the ground after I punched him from a blind spot perspective when I knew he was pissed and unstable on his feet your honour.. but I'm just a kharnt and did it anyway.. I rule "

blaming his upbringing and parents is like saying that iron ore is the real culprit since guns and bullets are made from steel ?? nup he needs to be left to obliviate, unheard from for ever.....and not made a martyr ..he needs to disappear painfully an completely

and make a POV go pro of that...and post it worldwide. or not. we are just like him ….then ah well... sad to say it could have been much worse.. at least the weapons of choice were only guns/rifles-- not sarin or explosives.

    There's that..

Or we could just saturate the media with beat after beat up to retain ratings that are at an all time low due to better media taking over from mainstream adverfodder…

and as heartfelt as some people who have been interviewed are making out their concern and grief....it all just seems to trivialise the event for the people involved.

media is having a field day as are politicians and so-called experts who all want to see themselves as the real source of facts in the matter.

the facts will come out in good time .

again people have been killed and injured... a situation that always brings out the coat-tail riders and postscript journalists..

Isn't it alleged that Boeing just do something like this..? oh wai that was 2 possibly preventable plane crashes.. no guns...but lots of body bags.

This sickness me to the core, also the fact these individuals had a choice to hate.
An that opportunity to achieve such evil, surely people that they have shared an given their time up be apart of these individuals life’s ,now have to carry that burden.
All in the name of “hate”.
My payers go out to all New Zealander’s.

I agree with your media ‘beat up’.
I cringe at the comparison of Boeing.
Yep. The body bag count is there, a software glitch as it appears to be would not be a ‘malice’ oversight. I would hope it wasn’t.

Should our own IS widow be treated the same as the 4 suspected felons in NZ?
Is she now a disallutioned child who has discovered the errors in her previous life.
Her threats to Australians, her IS promotional videos, interviews and photos have everything a the Shooters ‘manifest’ had.
More beheadings and religion and remorse now IS didn’t quite take over the world. Less White Supremacy.

I believe the above example is a better illustration than your comparison using Boeing.

...are you more dead if you get shot...? Why cringe ? Is it easier to justify death when it comes from a religious motivation.? "Yeh happens all the time these days.."

I'm pretty sure that entering a Mosque to pray shouldn't immediately make you a target for murderers...

IS is just a game played by bitter revengeful adults...and sometimes children. the motivation for it remains the same no matter how it is reinvented......

Moral outrage gets 'likes' on social media. Moral obligation doesn't. Software or hardware...makes no difference. A confluence of bad timing for a great many in both cases.
