Legion is back (don't bother if you don't appreciate a mind-fuck)
Happy (same as above, with a little John Wick)
Fear the Walking Dead - better with a new energy and new characters
Westworld - Ed Fucking Harris! (oh, and now some more revelations making sense)

    The Terror.

Based on a Dan Simmons novel (of the Hyperion series and Summer of Night fame), and a fictionalisation of the historical loss of two ships searching for the North-West Passage.

GREAT cast, great writing - think Master and Commander crossed with a bit of Mountains of Madness, and a modicum of cannibalism.

    Fastest Car on Netflix.

They pit 3 *sleeper cars up against a "supercar" each episode.
The winners of each episode go to a final race.

    * Whilst some cars DO look like sleepers, I don't think you can call a car a sleeper if it has a blower or turbo piping poking through the bonnet, or is sitting on drag tyres. :/

Also a bit funny to hear the guys with sleepers say shit like "I'm racing a $100k car with my $5k car - they're gonna look stupid" ... after telling us they just dropped $80k on the engine.

    Regardless - it's not a bad watch.

The excuses when they lose was quite funny from some of them. I don't know why but to me the guy in the wheel chair came across as a bit of a dick to me....

He definitely had a chip on his shoulder.
    Loved his car though.
And he was the ONLY one to get advice on how to run out on the flats.

I liked the dude that was mates with Blake Williams... and that RX2 was fkn gorgeous. I cried for him.

Just finished the book, by itself its a pretty good sci-fi read but if I hadn't watched the tv series first I would have had no fucking idea what was going on. The TV series is completely different in parts, and I don't mean GoT different it re-writes one of the main twists completely. TV - 9.5/10, book - 7/10

Exactly how I'd describe it. I get bored, often end up reading email or wandering to the kitchen mid-action, but it'll do. I liked the concept and the first episode won me over, but it kinda never took off after that. It's a bit... dumbed down... they explain things too in-depth and most of it doesn't need explaining. Just let the mayhem happen and keep people guessing. Could have done without Anthony Hopkins.

Keep watching, It gets better, its one of those shows that has to be considered as a whole at the end, rather than rating it by each episode. It is one long movie broken into hour segments for TV.

Also I liked season 1, but in my irrelevant opinion season 2 made it one of the best shows I have ever seen. Most shows have a season 1 climax and then the quality drops off for the start of the second season, its usually an afterthought, because they were never even sure if there would be a second season. But Westworld just keeps getting better from S2E1 all the way through the season.

Its one of the only shows where I can say the shitty filler episode in S2 with the plot detour was amazing. I would have been happy if that ep went for 3 hours.

Probably the slowest episode of the season... and every second of it was gripping. Zahn deserves an award for that performance.
