well done...they still should do day tests like that here for bikes i agree, sounds like fun actually.
Yeah sounds interesting. I do feel like the tests here need to become more comprehensive.
Willagee. My instructor showed me a few routes they do, we practiced around. Test day comes and we did one of those routes, pissed easy as I knew where all the tricky bits where before hand and passed with a clean sheet.
I was happy that I passed but it really shows how easy it is to pass if you just now the area.
I would feel I short changed myself if I failed here and so decided that I would be better off doing QRide because I thought it would be easier. Not trying to have a go at you as such. I mean you passed so I assume you can ride, just seems a strange thing to do.
Im assuming converting back to a WA licence is pretty straight forward?
Ride ride ride.
The main reason was the wait time on a retest, and the fact i was coming over here anyway.
I'am glad i did it though, i have learnt alot. Will be booking in my AHG course asap, looking forward to that one also.
Congrats on the license!
Congrats Maxim Sounds like it was fun day as well as being a test Yaayyy see you out there .. couple more of us Hyo's to terrorise people lol
it does, directly translate to a WA licence. but maybe ill just keep the QLD, seeing demits often dont get deducted for fines!
well done Matt i had faith in you see you tomoz
Wont be there tomorrow mate flying back from queensland on monday, But i will be there for the next week ones, i shall accompany you then ;P
Congrats Matt - see u when you get back
For sure Gecko, Looking forward to another Gecko weekend ride this time without the "L" =))
Congrats oh and the fines will come off it, don't worry about that
I have experienced otherwise.. having had Victorian, Qld and WA licences. i had one speeding fine in QLD, on my Victorian licence where the demerits didnt come off.
Also my current house mate is driving on his SA licence in WA, he got a talking on mobile phone fine, paid the fine didnt lose any demerits. also a speeding fine where he didnt lose demerits also.
I know the east coast have all there systems better linked these days.. not sure how WA is going on that front? aint they always behind on the times? hope so.
Ive heard they are all linked now ... finally (or so the rumour goes) lol .. but sometimes it gets lost in translation so if he didnt lose points ... Im thinking he's lucky hehe I do not doubt there is someone around that would know this for a definite or not tho
looking forward to riding with ya again, and maybe pulling a switch on the bikes for a little run
sounds like you learnt a lot and was definately worthwhile doing
:awesome: just under a month left. time to book the test and organise lessons!
hey, just noticed you have the same bike... hence why you said in my thread "good choice", der, haha. would be interested to see a pic of it!?
good luck with going for your R's.
