    Best Short Motorcycle boots

    Hey guys

Im looking for some 3/4 length motorbike boots which would be more comfortable for all day use rather than having to take them off straight after a ride.

So far ive added these to my short list:
    Alpinestars SMX-2
    Sidi streetburner

Are there any others you would add to this list to look at?

I realise that these shorter boots dont offer quite as much protection but i will be wearing the all day and i would rather have some protection rather than none with normal work shoes.

    Thanks for your help

If you want shorter boots, RJAYs make a pair (Xanthian? and Jess? have them). Total MC Accessories in East Vic Pk stock them.

Seconded, I have the 814 Rossi's, they are practical and comfortable. They are not for racing though, just regular road use, but offer decent protection, and you can wear them about as they look more like a regular boot.

I got a pair of Alpine Stars Roam
Roam Waterproof Boot - Alpinestars Official Store.

not a really short boot, fits under pants and look smart enough for work can be polished up a bit, but are the most comfortable boot i found after months of looking.

I have the Rossi 814's. They're very comfortable, as comfortable as any other non-riding boots. They are warm though from the padding etc inside, so I still swap to normal shoes once I get to the office. They also saved my toes on my right foot when I had an off last year.

I got mine at Total Motorcycle Accessories in Vic Park.

I remember the full length Rossi 811 Visions felt very good as well, they'll probably be my next boots. If you have the cash perhaps consider them for better ankle protection.

If you're after a pair you can wear all day I can highly recommend the Falco Axis boots. They're mid height and _very_ comfortable. I wear them to TAFE quite regularly (6-8 hour day) and so far have no complaints.

    Feels good man.

Just make sure you try them on. Total Motorcycle Accessories is where I got my Rossis and I do wear them all day. I have wide feet and some of the more "professional" boots were so tight I couldn't even pull them on.

With the Rossis, I wear thick socks though. Anything less and they ride down and it's a pain pulling socks up all the time.

Well after creating this thread a while ago and risi g almost every day I e realized a few things,1. Full size boots feel much safer and are worth the hassle 2. Get yourself a pair of sidi b2's very comfy, offer excellent protection and look great

Yeah, I got 2 screws in one ankle already, so full size boots are the go for me. Was graciously donated some nice Sidi race boots - wont be jogging in them, but they feel great and very secure
