    had 10 days in NZ earlier in the month. Weather was mostly really crap most of the time, very much unlike the normal NZ weather for january, but i got a couple of rides in.
    The Waimakariri river up near Arthurs Pass





    The only straight bit of road between just west of Springfield, and,I dunno, down the other side of Arthurs Pass around Jacksons. About 130 k's

    i have plans on seeing NZ in the future, apparently there is lots of poms over there so seems i have lots of relations and my dad has recently stored a brand new benelli tre1130k in one of their sheds

    FINALLY

    After working in Tom price for near 18 months, I get some good lightning pics. Had plenty of storms, but everything seemed to conspire against getting a shot. Rain, terrain, moving too fast...so I knocked it out of thee park last night, moved 3 times, probably the best single night I've ever had

    Shots taken from Lancewood up the hill from Obrien Road. Moonrise was difficult because of the smog. The second shot the tree was illuminated with a torch on an 8 second exposure.

    Great photos mate Went over to a mates place in Craigie last nigh and sat out the front with a few UDL's and watched the eclipse and it was great, wish I'd remembered a camera as the phone didn't really show much other than a bright blob
