Nah, second handy. I did get the papers posted out from the dealer (the filling out of the details) but haven't yet received the gubbymint's request for my munniez. Just thought the money grabbers would be on it quicker than this, hence the query

    Yup.

"The seller must mail the sellerís copy to [...] within 7 days of the sale or an infringement penalty may be applied."

Makes sense if it's 3 weeks incl. grace period then (counting how long Aus Post take to send the "bill").

Kristy: Personally I'd call DOT tomorrow and get them to confirm they've received it.

Saw the car thread a while back. What'd you get?

Yeah I might have to give them a ring *shudder*. I rate dealing with DoT up there (or rather, down there) with dealing with insurance companies or service providers.

Got a Golf GTI. Jury is out as to whether I keep her (long story), hence not posting up in the thread what I got. If she's not a keeper, will get another Subaru.

I bought something a couple of months ago, the seller put his transfer in online on the Thursday, I sent mine in on the Friday.
I had a letter in the mail on the next Wednesday telling me they hadn't received my transfer form, WTF, and a bill in the post 2
    days later for the transfer.

I'd say if you haven't received anything in 3 weeks, from my experience, something maybe awry.

The fuck is it with this weather? For the last 3 or 4 years I'd say the seasons are out by a month (summer now = Jan to March) and for the last few years we've had a few scorchers (38+) and then low 20s - WTF? No more sustained 35+ degree days like we used to get. I'm sitting here in tracky dacks and a jumper (probably a bit of overkill but that's what I grabbed out of the cupboard). For a cold blooded reptile like me, it's definitely not shorts and t-shirt weather. Who took all the warm away?

    It's global warming, apparently.
Is it acceptable to wear socks in bed?

Yeah I was trying to avoid using global warming/climate change.

I think socks in bed is OK while sleeping, but not during sexy timez (though like every female my feet can be like iceblocks so socks may be a a good thing).

It's daylight savings, did you forget to put your calendar forward?
Do you remember the good old days before the internet?

You may want to check the research on that before you set it in stone.

Look, I'm not going to lose an hours' worth of my calendar's usefulness by putting it forward - I paid full price for it, not for one less hour. I've got enough problems with my curtains fading (no, they're not red). Putting my calendar forward an hour, let alone a month to accommodate the changing seasons is the last thing on my mind.

Mrs frt finds socks a big turn off so I try not to involve my feet during foreplay.
Doesn't always work if I forget to take my ugg boots off.
    Women are weird.

haha, if my feet are iceblocks I keep them well away
question is: what's more unsexy - socks or cold feet?

    I have enjoyed stranger things.

My partner is post menopausal and any body temp below 5000 degrees celsius would be a change.

Aside from the fact that I have been friends with more than a few working girls in the past and this would come (snigger) up in discussions at times, there is some scientific basis as well.

I agree, socks are great - especially in winter... but there is something unsexy/reserved about them while the rest of you is starkers. But yeah, if my socks happened to stay on in winter I wouldn't complain.

    Was thinking the same thing...

I guess it could bother a foot fetishist, but if she's standing their starkers I'm not concerned with the feet...

Pointy elbows though, that's another story altogether, do you have pointy elbows Kristy?
