Sadly no, going to be working... But definitely going to the astrophotography workshop at the observatory next Saturday. Been meaning to try my hand at it for a while, can't wait to get some good pointers.

Dear pube, where can I buy sticky backed velcro (good quality stuff)? I have some left over from a PC5 but want moar to replace the weird-arse velcro-like stuff Suzuki uses on their pseudo carbon fibre side panels. Fanx

3m(?) do some, I got a few metres of it from Blackwoods a while ago. A bit heavier than the OEM stuff, but same design, so they may do a "finer" comb version.

    (brother's a postie)

    note keywords: "impression" and "around"
Note: this may not be the universe where the above is relevant.

would you be able to find out and let me know? I have had a call for and interview for Palmyra job, but pay rate is what concerns me as I need to support my family.

I've been consistently around $2000-2200 per fortnight after tax.
    Largely dependant on overtime.
New starters unfortunately will be at 15% less starting at 6:30am and getting no penalty rates. This is very shit.
    Add in 3 months probation.

It's unfortunately not very attractive to a new starter.

Thanks 66 what happens after probation?

It is funny you say that, as the lady form Auspost, in Victoria, said 6am until 1 or 2.30 pm finish but could be wrong.

Can confirm 6 am start and slightly later finish times (dependant on work load and experience). It's rough at the start but gets enjoyable the more you get used to it.

If you can get a 6am start, that helps. 15% extra base wage.

Rostered finish is 2:30 monday, 2:15 Tuesday, 1:30 wed-friday. (Based on 6am start)

Work an hour extra per day and you'll have a fair bit extra per week. (5 hours at 1.5x pay, plus ~$17 meal allowance tax free per day, and likely a small hourly rate increase for doing part of someone else's round)

Probation is just a reduced wage, and the ability to fire you for what ever reason. End of that is sign up, and pay goes up.

Clocking out at 940 on a Friday and still getting paid till 130...

    Works both ways.

Does depend on round size, office, and work load though.

No way I could finish that early atm. Struggle to be done by midday even going flat out.
